Our gynaecology service investigates, diagnoses and treats conditions related to women’s reproductive health and is based at the Women's Centre at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.

Colposcopy

You may be offered a colposcopy if your cervical screening (smear test) finds abnormal cells in your cervix. Cervical screening is a way of preventing cancer by detecting and treating abnormalities early.

Urogynaecology service

The urogynaecology department offers clinical assessment and treatment of pelvic floor and lower urinary tract disorders, including vaginal prolapse and urinary incontinence.

Early pregnancy assessment clinic (EPAU)

The early pregnancy assessment clinic is an emergency service if you are between 7 and 15 weeks pregnant and experience pain or bleeding.
