Acute Medicine
Acute Medicine provides a service for acutely ill medical patients across our Acute Medical Unit (AMU) and Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) units at both hospitals sites.
The Acute Medicine service works closely with both Emergency Medicine and Medical Specialties.
In addition to doctors, it employs a broad range of non-medical staff, including advanced clinical practitioners and therapy teams. Together, these teams work collaboratively to provide comprehensive multidisciplinary care to acute medicine patients.
